Privacy Policy

THIS IS A STAND IN.

Last updated: 27 October 2026

Strive Academy ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use striveacademy.biz or register for our classes, how we use it, who we share it with, and how you can contact us about it. It follows Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

What we collect

When a parent or guardian registers a student, we collect: - Student: name, email address (for the learning portal), level and the subjects chosen. - Parent or guardian: name, email address and phone number. - Class details: the plan chosen, 1-to-1 times agreed with you, any referral code used, and your consent. - Payment records: amounts, payment status and invoice numbers. We do not see or store your bank or card details; PayNow payments are handled by our payment provider.

If you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we keep the messages and contact details you send us.

Why we use it

We use this data to: - process the registration and set up the student's learning portal account; - arrange classes and 1-to-1 times, and tell you about schedule changes; - collect fees, send invoices and receipts, and handle refunds; - answer your questions and keep records of our classes.

We only send you marketing messages if you have agreed to receive them, and you can stop them at any time.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only as needed for the purposes above, with service providers who handle it on our behalf: - Aqaday (Impact Point): our learning and payment platform. It creates the student's portal account, runs the classes online, takes payments and sends welcome emails and invoices for us. - HitPay: processes PayNow payments. - Google (Firebase and Google Sheets): hosts this website and stores registration records. - Zoho: our business email. - Brevo: sends emails on our behalf.

We do not sell personal data. We may also disclose it where the law requires.

Some of these providers may store data outside Singapore. When that happens, we take steps to make sure the data is protected to a standard comparable to the PDPA.

Children's data

Students are usually under 18. We collect a student's data only with the consent of their parent or legal guardian, given on the registration form.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires (for example, payment and tax records). After that, we delete it or make it anonymous.

Keeping it safe

We use reasonable security measures, including access controls and encrypted connections, to protect personal data from unauthorised access, use or loss. If a data breach is likely to cause significant harm, we will notify the affected people and the Personal Data Protection Commission as the PDPA requires.

Your choices

You may ask to: - see the personal data we hold about you or your child, and how it has been used; - correct data that is wrong or out of date; - withdraw your consent.

If you withdraw consent, we may no longer be able to provide classes or the learning portal account. We will reply to requests within 30 days.
